Repair A Mini Ka08 Cell Phone

The Mini KA08 cell phone is a clone of the popular iPhone device. The phone replicates the look, feel and feature set of the iPhone. For example, the Mini KA08 has the same widgets and physical case as the iPhone. Periodically, you may need to repair the phone because of a malfunction. The device may freeze or experience some other technical issue. Regardless of the issue you are experiencing, you may be able to repair the device yourself.

Instructions

1. Charge the device's battery. If you are receiving dropped calls or other service issues, you should make sure that the device's battery is fully charged. Plug the charger into the port on the bottom of the device and let the phone charge for at least one hour.

2. Perform a "soft reset" that will preserve the data in the device. You are simply restarting the phone. This option is useful if the device has frozen or otherwise fails to function properly. Remove the battery cover and battery from the back of the device. Remove the SIM card and insert it in the same slot. Replace the battery and battery cover. Power on the device by pressing the "Power" button on the face of the device.

3. Perform a "hard reset," also called a "factory reset." Unlike the "soft reset," this procedure erases all of your data and restores the phone to its original factory condition. Press "Menu" from the device's home screen. Select "Settings" and "Restore Factory Settings." Enter the phone's password to confirm that your want to reset the device. If you have not changed the phone's password, enter "1122," which is the default code.
