The Sony Xplod CD changer gives you the option of having multiple CDs available to you without having to search through albums and cases. The Xplod Changer is designed to operate with the Sony Xplod deck with CD changer control options. Before getting started, you will want to find a location to mount your changer. Make sure you leave room to eject the magazine from the changer and that you aren't going to drill any holes around wiring or the gas tank.
Instructions
1. Mount the changer. The mounting bracket on the changer has screw holes to attach the bracket to your vehicle. Using the hardware that came with the changer, secure it to the location that you have selected using your power drill and screwing down the brackets.
2. Disconnect your car battery.
3. Plug the changer's data cable into the back of the Sony deck. On the end of the cable is a DIN plug and there is only one place on the back of the deck where it will fit.
4. Run the data cable to the changer and plug the other end into the input slot on the changer. The data cable carries the power and the signal, so this will be the only connection that you will need to make.
5. Reconnect your car battery.
