The Slingbox Classic, AV and Tuner models are not officially supported by the SlingPlayer Moble software; however, many users have reported they work fine with the SlingPlayer Mobile software.
Mobile Connection Speeds
In order to function well, the SlingPlayer software requires a 3G or faster connection from the wireless provider that is providing data service to the device. Some carriers in the past have restricted or prohibited the SlingPlayer Mobile software on their networks. Newer phones with 4G connections will work even better. The best performance for SlingPlayer Mobile is achieved when a smartphone with Wi-Fi capabilities is connected to a wireless access point.
