Disassemble A Nextel I355

The i355 is a model of cellphone manufactured by Motorola, an Illinois-based telecommunications and electronics company. The phone was available on the Nextel network in the USA before being discontinued. You might want to take apart your i355 to access the SIM card or battery, or if you want to store the phone for a prolonged period of time. The Motorola i355 can be taken apart without difficulty in just a few minutes.

Instructions

1. Press and hold the "Power" button to turn off the i355. Unplug the charger if it is connected.

2. Flip the i355 over so you can get to the battery cover.

3. Slide the battery release button downward toward the bottom of the phone. The battery release button has an arrow printed on it and is located above the battery door. Turn the small piece of plastic in front of the battery release button if you find the button locked in place. The battery cover pops open when released.

4. Lift off the battery cover to reveal the i355 battery.

5. Insert a fingernail between the battery and the edge of the phone. Gently prise out the battery.

6. Push and hold down the small plastic tab at the cut corner end of the SIM card. Carefully slide the SIM card out from under its holder.

7. Gather the i355 parts. The phone is now disassembled.
