Transferring pictures from a cell phone to a PC is a good way to maintain pictures without the possibility of losing them. Once you transfer pictures to a PC, they can be digitally enhanced, edited, printed, and safely stored to a secure database. The process itself is quite simple to complete. It can be done a couple of different ways. But each way allows you to achieve the same goal. All you need is a means of digital transportation to move the pictures.
Instructions
1. Import your pictures by syncing them. This action can be done by simply connecting the cell phone to the PC via USB sync cable. Plug the sync cable into the phone and the PC. Once the connection is detected, an "Import" window will appear in the lower right corner. Click "Import" and the pictures will be transferred automatically and saved to your hard drive.
2. Save the pictures to a memory card. Place a Micro SD memory card into your phone. Slide the memory card into the phone, and access your pictures. Press the "Options" key and opt to "Move" your pictures. There's only one place to move the pictures. Remove the card from the phone and place it in the PC. You will be prompted to "Import".
3. Upload your pictures to your online picture mail account. This is by far the easiest way to transfer them to your PC. This action can be done by just using the cell phone itself. Access your Pictures/Video folder on the cell phone. Press the "Options" key and opt to "Upload" your pictures. Check the pictures you want to upload. (You can only upload 10 at a time.) Your pictures will them be transferred to your online picture mail account.
4. Save your cell pictures to your PC's hard drive from your picture mail account. Log into your picture mail account. Locate the picture you want to save to your PC. Maximize the picture. Right-click over the picture, and select the "Save Picture As" option. Name the picture and save it to your PC.
