What Is The Difference Between A Roady Xt & A Roady2

The Delphi RoadyXT and Roady2 XM satellite radio receivers were designed to work with your car stereo system. While they have similar physical features, several of their functions and accessories are different.


Features


The RoadyXT and Roady2 have LCD displays, auto power on and off, and external satellite radio antennas. While the RoadyXT comes with a remote, the Roady2 comes with a car cassette adapter and a car power adapter. Neither receiver includes a radio, CD player or MD system, though they do include FM tuners.


Specifications


The 3.7 inches wide by 0.7 inches deep by 2.2 inches high RoadyXT weighs 2.7 oz., while the slightly larger 3.9 inches wide by 0.7 inches deep by 2.4 inches high Roady2 weighs 3.4 oz. Both satellite receivers are silver in color.


Purchasing


Neither the RoadyXT nor the Roady2 are available from the manufacturer, but they can be purchased from resellers such as Amazon Marketplace for around $133 or $95, respectively, as of 2011.
