Change A Battery On A Motorola C333

The life of a cell phone battery depends on the amount of use and how often it must be recharged. The cycle of discharging and recharging more than any other factor will impact when the battery must be replaced. The Motorola C333 cell phone contains a 3.6 volt rectangular battery that only takes a second to replace. Take the old battery with you when shopping for a replacement.

Instructions

1. Turn the phone face-down in your hand and slide off the back cover for the battery pack.

2. Remove the battery pack by placing your fingernails just under the top edge of the battery and lifting so that the battery comes out an an angle.

3. Note the four contact points where the battery connects to the phone.

4. Write down the part number on the battery and take it with you to a cell phone store or electronics retailer for a replacement.

5. Install the new battery by aligning the four pins with the connectors inside the cell phone, then lower the battery at an angle into the battery compartment and replace the back cover.

6. Charge the phone if the new battery is not already fully charged.

7. Recycle the old battery. Do not discard or incinerate, as rechargeable batteries are explosive.
