Connect A Phillips Direct Tv Tivo To The Internet







The Phillips Direct TV TiVo is a set-top DVR device that allows users to record and organize televised content for later viewing. You can schedule your TiVo box to record your favorite shows. You can pause, rewind and fast-forward -- just like using a DVD player. To use most of the advanced features of your Phillips Direct TV TiVo, you'll need to connect it to an active Internet connection. Connecting your TiVo set-top box to the Internet should take no more than fifteen minutes.


Instructions


1. Locate the the Ethernet port on the back of the TiVo box.


2. Insert an Ethernet cable into the slot on the back of the TiVo box. Connect the other end of the cable into your router or Ethernet hub.


3. Power on the TiVo box, then press the "TiVo" button. Select "Messages and Settings" from the TiVo menu. Click "Settings," then "Network and Phone".








4. Click "Change Network Settings," then follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your Internet settings.
