Troubleshoot Innovage Photo Keychains

A photo key chain is a small digital photo frame that fits on your keychain. It operates exactly like a digital photo frame, displaying digital computer images on a small LCD screen. Photo key chains are small enough to fit on your existing key chain, and fit nicely in your pocket. If you've having trouble with your Innovage photo key chain, a little troubleshooting can help correct these issues.

Instructions

1. Charge your Innovage photo key chain's battery using the included USB cable. Connect your USB cable to the key chain and to your computer, the same way you do when you transfer photos to the device. Innovage photo key chains have a small rechargeable battery inside their case, which needs to be replenished every so often so that the device can continue to operate.

2. Verify that you're using a picture format that the Innovage photo key chain can recognize. There are many different types of picture formats, and the Innovage photo key chain cannot recognize them all. Your pictures need to be in a format like GIF or JPEG to be displayed on the photo key chain. If your picture is in a format like TIFF or PNG, the key chain won't be able to recognize it.

3. Install and use the Innovage key chain software when transferring pictures. Do not try to transfer them using Windows Explorer. The Windows operating system recognizes the Innovage key chain as a Flash-based storage device. When you transfer photos to the device using Windows Explorer, it simply stores them on the device and doesn't format them properly for display purposes. You need to use the Innovage software to transfer photos to the device so they can be displayed properly.
