Send A Picture & Photos

Someone once said pictures can say a thousand words. But in today's digital age, they probably say millions. Cell phone picture mail, email, the Internet and other electronic devices have nearly rendered everyday methods of mailing pictures obsolete. You can send pictures in seconds rather than waiting days for them to be delivered, with just a click of a button. There are many different innovative methods that can be used to send pictures to someone. The best part is you don't have to be a computer scientist to do so. Anyone can send pictures within a couple of minutes, regardless of computer experience.

Instructions

1. Mail your pictures USPS. Although this is one of the oldest and slowest methods to send pictures, it is still effective. There are still people who do not have cell phones or the Internet, so this method can still work well. All you need is an envelop, a stamp, the destination address and the picture itself, and you're good to go. You can opt to mail the picture(s) from home or take them to your local post office.

2. Send your pictures via email. Login to your email account, and click "Compose" or "New" to set up a new message. In the destination data form, type the email address where you want to send the picture. Click on the "Attach" option below the destination data form. Locate the picture on your computer's hard drive, and click on it to attach it to the email. (To attach more pictures, simply repeat the action before you opt to send the email.) Click "Send" once you're done to send the picture.

3. Sync pictures to another device. Syncing is basically the process of connecting the phone or computer to another device via USB sync cable. Once the connection is established, an "Import" window will appear so you can take action for the transfer process. Simply click "Import" to send the picture immediately.

4. Bluetooth your pictures. Sending pictures via Bluetooth is a way you can send your pictures to not only cell phones, but to computers, multimedia players and other electronic devices. Place your phone or computer in discovery mode and turn your Bluetooth component on. Pair the importing and exporting devices by entering an identical four-digit password. Then select the picture you want to send.

5. Use your cell phone PictureMail feature to send a picture. Press the Menu key on your cell phone's keypad, and go to your "Messages" folder. Go to text messaging, or PictureMail messaging to compose a message. Enter the phone number where you want the picture to be sent, then check the box next to the picture you want to send, and press "Send."

6. Upload your pictures from your phone to send them to your PictureMail account online. This is a great way to send pictures from your phone so they can be viewed online. Simply go to your phone's Media Center or Content Manager, and go to "Pictures" or "Photo Album." Check the box next to each picture you want to upload. (Only check up to 10 pictures.) Press the "Options" key in the upper-right corner of the keypad, and select "Manage," then "Upload." Your pictures will then be transferred for online access.
