Download Photos On An Ipod

You can import digital photos to your computer and download them to the iPod. You can then view your photos on the iPod or as a slideshow on your TV. You can also import photos from a digital card reader or a digital camera to your computer and then add them to your iPod. You can also go in reverse and add photos from you iPod to your computer.

Instructions

1. Import photos from a camera to your computer. Connect the camera or card reader to your computer and open iPhoto. If you have it, it's located in the applications folder on Macs. You might not have it; in that case, use Image Capture on the Mac. Click "Import" and images from the camera or card reader will import into iPhoto and onto the computer OR open Image Capture and choose the items you want to import. Click "Download Some."

2. Download photos to the iPod. In iTunes, select the iPod in the device list and click the Photos tab. Select "Sync Photos From..." Choose iPhoto on the Mac or the photo application you regularly use. If you are using a PC, you can use Adobe Photoshop Album 2.0 or Elements 3.0, which sync the photos automatically. Select "All Photos and Albums," and click "Apply." Now each time you connect your iPod to the computer, your photos are downloaded automatically.

3. View the photos on the iPod. Choose Photos and then All Photos. Thumbnails will appear. Select the photo you want to view and press the center button to see it. Use the click wheel to scroll through the photos.

4. Add photos from the iPod back to the computer. Connect the iPod to the computer and drag image files from the Photos folder or the DCIM folder on the iPod to the desktop or to an editing application on the computer. On PCs, Adobe Photoshop Album 2.0 or Elements 3.0 syncs the photos automatically.
