The Stauer Atomic watch is water-resistant and made of titanium. It shows time in hours and minutes in an analog display with luminous hands so you can see it in the dark. The date and seconds are shown in a digital display. The Stauer watch has a radio receiver to pick up transmissions from the atomic clock maintained by the U.S. government in Boulder, Colorado, providing such accuracy that it will gain or lose only one second every 20 million years. If there is a problem receiving the signal from Boulder, you can easily set the watch yourself.
Instructions
1. Press button B located on the right side of the watch at the four-o'clock position while also pushing the D button located on the left side of the watch at the eight-o'clock position, and hold them both for more than three seconds. The seconds will flash in the display.
2. Release the buttons.
3. Press the B button briefly. The seconds will reset to 00.
4. Press the D button briefly. The minutes will flash in the display.
5. Press the B button to advance the minutes incrementally, or hold it to advance them rapidly. Stop pushing the button when you reach the correct minutes setting.
6. Press the D button briefly. The hours will flash in the display.
7. Press the B button to advance the hours incrementally, or hold it to advance them rapidly. Stop pushing the button when you reach the correct hours setting. Continue in this fashion to set the year, month and day. Press the D button to save the setting.
