Instructions For The Avent Naturally Express Bottle Warmer

The Avent Naturally Express bottle warmer can safely heat up baby bottles.

Many babies will only drink their bottles warm, and because microwaves do not heat bottles evenly, it is necessary for parents to buy products that can safely warm bottles. The Avent Naturally Express bottle warmer is a convenient option. This bottle warmer can warm up 4-ounce bottles at room temperature in only four minutes, and can also heat up bottles of other sizes and baby food jars. The Avent Naturally Express bottle warmer safely and gently warms up bottles for your baby.

Instructions

1. Put the basket that holds the bottles inside the bottle warmer.

2. Place the filled baby bottle with the dome cap removed inside the warmer. If warming a baby food jar, place it on the warmer without the lid.

3. Fill the bottle warmer with water. For a 4-ounce bottle or the Avent disposable system bottles, fill with water until just about the level of milk in the bottle. For larger bottles or baby food jars, fill to half-inch below the rim of the warmer.

4. Plug the bottle warmer into an electric outlet and switch to the ON position. The neon light will illuminate.

5. Turn the dial setting to 3 for bottles and baby food jars. Turn the dial setting to 2 for the Avent disposable system.

6. Remove the bottle or baby food jar when the light flashes on and off intermittently. This indicates the bottle has been on the warmer for the appropriate amount of time and that the water is being kept at a constant temperature.

7. Replace the dome cap. Shake the bottle and test the temperature on the inside of your wrist. Stir the baby food with a spoon and test it.

8. Place the bottle on the warmer again if it's not ready. The water will continue to warm the bottle while being kept at a constant temperature. Avoid overheating the bottle.

9. Switch the bottle warmer to the OFF position once the bottle is ready, and unplug from the electrical outlet.

Tips Warnings

Remove the basket from inside the bottle warmer when using bottles that are not from Avent.

When warming smaller baby food jars, place the screw ring from an Avent bottle under the jar before adding the water. This will make removing the jar easier.

Use pre-boiled or distilled water in the warmer to reduce lime scale build-up.

Always test the temperature of the bottles or baby food jars before feeding the baby.

Avoid letting the water rise above the neck of the bottle or spill over the edge of the warmer.
