Increase An Xm Signal Indoors

Sirius XM, or XM Satellite Radio, is a satellite radio service offered in North America. Sirius XM was created as the result of a merger between Sirius and XM in the summer of 2008. XM is a subscription-based service that offers over 200 individual channels ranging from talk radio to electronica. XM radio receivers can be purchased not only for your car but for use in your home. Occasionally, these receivers may have difficulty broadcasting a strong enough signal throughout your home and it may be necessary to amplify the signal.

Instructions

1. Connect the transmitter box supplied with the Delphi XM signal repeater kit to the satellite receiver. Plug the transmitter box into a power socket.

2. Connect the repeater antenna to your XM radio receiver. Power the repeater antenna by plugging it into the back of your XM radio receiver with the A/C adapter cord.

3. Position the satellite receiver near a south-facing window. The signal repeater can amplify the satellite radio signal throughout your home up to 75 feet.
