Keurig Coffee Instructions

Office cafeterias often feature a Keurig coffee maker.

Keurig coffee machines provide users with the ability to create a single, fresh cup of coffee through the use of individual sealed containers of coffee known as K-Cups. Businesses often place Keurig coffee makers in their break rooms and lobbies to prevent waste, waiting times and upkeep issues found with traditional coffee pots in a workplace or office setting. While Keurig offers different models of coffee makers, most operate in the same basic manner.

Instructions

1. Plug in the machine. Perform any priming or setup procedures needed for your specific model of Keurig coffee maker.

2. Lift the lid on the top of the coffee maker. Fill the water reservoir with cold water. Close the lid and press the power button on the front of the machine.

3. Center a mug or coffee-compatible cup on the drip tray. Select a K-Cup flavor if several are available. Do not remove the foil covering over the top of the K-Cup.

4. Lift the brewing handle on the upper front of the machine. Place your K-Cup in the fitted holder inside, then lower the handle again to close the machine and puncture the foil on the top of the K-Cup.

5. Press the Brew button, or the button indicating the amount of coffee (in ounces) desired depending on your model. Select a smaller cup size to receive a stronger flavor in the coffee. Wait for the coffee to finish brewing completely, then take your cup.
