Create an exciting space for your daughter.
Choose decor for a girl's room based on the tastes, interests, and favorite colors of the girl in question. Many parents choose bright, cheerful colors to decorate girls' rooms. Whatever color palette you choose, try to incorporate your color story into the room. Including glamorous, attention-grabbing decorations into the room can create an exciting space for your daughter to grow up in.
Murals
Murals can add depth to a room and set the tone for the decor. If you are not up to the challenge of painting a mural yourself, hire a local artist to paint it, or post a flier in a nearby university's art building. Another option is to use wall decals. They create a similar effect but are removable and often are cheaper. Whatever option you decide on, make sure the image in the mural reflects the child's personality.
Chandeliers
Adding a chandelier to a girl's room instantly adds glamour. Try placing it near a mirror to make an enchanting dressing area. If you want the chandelier to light up, it will cost more than options that are for decoration only.
Drapery
