Samsung A707
The Samsung A707 has the option to add extra memory to the phone by way of a micro memory card slot. A popular micro memory card manufacturer is SanDisk, and a SanDisk card is often purchased for use with the A707. When a memory card is first used on a device, or when it becomes full and needs to be erased, it is formatted. While the card can often be formatted directly on the device, it is often easier to format it on your computer. Doing it on the computer allows you to see in detail all items on the card and to transfer the items you want to save to your computer.
Instructions
1. Insert the micro SD card into the SD card adapter, and then insert the adapter into the memory card reader.
2. Insert the memory card reader into a USB port.
3. Select "Start" from your computer's taskbar, then select "My Computer."
4. Select the SanDisk memory card option from the "Removeable Devices" list. Right-click on the memory card.
5. Select "Format" from the options given. Click "Start" on the format window and follow the on-screen instructions for formatting your memory card. When finished, your card will be clean and ready to use in your Samsung A707.
