Transfer One Xm To Another

A satellite-based radio service, the XM radio service can be easily transferred to a new radio receiver. The service provides commercial-free music, exclusive music and talk programming as well as live coverage of major league baseball and national hockey league games. If you are a current subscriber of XM Radio, who recently merged with Sirius satellite radio, and you've purchased a new XM receiver, activate the device before accessing the service.

Instructions

2. Properly connect and power on the new XM Radio. Refer to the included user manual if you need to.

3. Turn the new XM Radio receiver to channel 0. The receiver displays your XM Radio ID. Write this down.

4. Call 1-800-XM-Radio. Select the option to "Activate Radio." You will be transferred an XM Radio customer service representative.

5. Verify and confirm your account details with the customer service representative. Give them the XM Radio ID of the new receiver when asked.

6. Verify the confirmation message on your XM Radio receiver. Once confirmed, your account will have been successfully transferred to the new receiver.
