Remove Apps From An Evo 4g

The EVO 4G smartphone by HTC supports thousands of applications on its Android operating system. However, this also means that it's easy to bog down your phone with a large amount of applications, some of which you may no longer need or want. You can remove applications from your phone with a few easy steps.

Instructions

1. Press the home button on the bottom of the EVO 4G to return to your home screen. The home button has a symbol of a house on it.

2. Touch the applications button on the screen, then touch "Market" and "Downloads." A list of all of the applications on your phone appears on the screen. The applications button appears on the bottom of the screen and has an arrow pointing up with a circle around it.

3. Tap the application you want to remove from your EVO 4G, then touch "Uninstall" from the list of options that appears on the screen.

4. Touch "OK" when asked to confirm removing the application. A list of reasons why you want to remove the application from the phone appears on the screen.

5. Tap the reason why you want to remove the application, then tap "OK" to remove the application.
