Get An Image From An Iphone App

Most apps allow you to copy or save an image.

Whether you want to send a picture from an application to your friend or want to set it as your background and lock screen, you have two primary options for saving photos from apps. Some apps are specifically designed for displaying and providing pictures, such as apps that provide a compendium of photos for backgrounds. These apps generally provide a "Save" button. In other apps, you will need to press on the photo to bring up a menu of options. If you cannot bring up a menu and there are no buttons for saving, you won't be able to get the image.

Instructions

1. Look for a "Save" button, especially if you are using an app for backgrounds or picture sharing. This will save the photo to your camera roll.

2. Press on the photo for about three seconds. In some apps, this will bring up a menu with a "Save" button, which you can press to save the photo to your camera roll.

3. Double-tap the photo and drag your finger slightly over the photo on the second tap to highlight it. This works if it is in an app with text, such as a news app or a reference app. When you highlight the photo, the "Copy" option appears. Tap "Copy;" then go to the Mail app. Create a new message and paste the image in the body. Send the email to yourself, and then tap the photo in the sent message to download it to your camera roll.
