Change The Clock In A Magellan Maestro

The clock in the Magellan Maestro automatically is set using information from the United States Global Positioning System. This ensures that the clock on your GPS device reflects the most accurate time possible. However, if your Magellan Maestro is set to the wrong time zone, the time is displayed incorrectly. Select the correct time zone for your Magellan Maestro to correct its internal clock.

Instructions

1. Touch the "Settings" option on the main menu screen of the Magellan Maestro GPS device.

2. Touch the "System" option on the settings menu.

3. Tap the "Time Zone" option on the system sub-menu.

4. Press the checked box next to "Use Auto Time Zone" to deselect the option that automatically chooses the time zone for the device.

5. Touch the "Set Time Zone" option on the Magellan Maestro GPS screen. Tap the right arrow button until the desired time zone is displayed. Touch the correct time zone to select it; the device's clock automatically updates to reflect your change.
