Certain Honda Odyssey models come with a CD player and changer installed in the head unit of the vehicle. You don't have to remove the entire CD player from the car to get the serial number and model number in the event that you need a replacement or you're having issues with the system. You need the serial number to retrieve the anti-theft code from the dealership, should a power loss or attempted theft trigger the system.
Instructions
Model Number
1. Examine the front panel of the Odyssey CD changer for the model number.
2. Check the CD changer door for the model information.
3. Check the left side of the CD changer if the changer door doesn't contain the model information.
Serial Number
4. Turn the Honda Odyssey's ignition to "1." You need the CD changer powered up to receive the serial number code.
5. Press the CD changer's "1" and "6" buttons down at the same time. The buttons are located along the lower part of the player.
6. Press the power button on the changer.
7. Write down the serial number that flashes on the LCD display.
