Use The Infolithium Battery Pack

Use your InfoLithium battery in compatible devices to get accurate battery status.

The InfoLithium battery pack is a high-technology battery made by Sony used to power cameras and other electronically operated camera accessories. It is a lithium-ion battery that has the ability to monitor power consumption and can tell you accurately, via the display on the camera, how much recording time is left. An InfoLithium battery stores at least twice the energy of regular nickel-based batteries, can be charged in about an hour or so and, because it monitors usage, you always know in advance when to recharge the battery back.

Instructions

1. Open the InfoLithium battery pack cover on your device. Either press the clip on the side of the cover using your fingers and flip it open, or slide the cover so it unclips, then lift off the cover using your fingers.

2. Insert the InfoLithium battery pack into the battery compartment. It only fits one way so you can't get it wrong.

3. Replace or close the battery pack cover. Press the cover into place until it clicks shut, or slide the cover into place until it clicks.

4. Turn on your device. Wait while the display loads up information from your InfoLithium battery. The display automatically tells you the amount of power in the battery and the number of pictures you can take, or amount of recording time available.

5. Use your device. The screen constantly updates information from the battery so you always know the power level and time left.
