Fix A Lexar Sdhc Card

A Secure Digital High-Density (SDHC) memory card is a portable, solid-state storage device used in many digital cameras. Lexar produces this type of memory card. SDHC cards can store hundreds or even thousands of digital photos. When your memory card begins to run perceptibly slower and errors appear, the card will require troubleshooting before the problem becomes even more serious. One solution that usually works is to format the SDHC memory card; however, all photos and other data stored on the card will be erased.

Instructions

1. Insert the Lexar SDHC card into the SDHC card port on your digital camera. The port is located next to the battery terminal on many cameras. If you don't see this port on your camera, consult your owner's manual for the location of the SDHC card port.

2. Power on the digital camera.

3. Push the "Menu" button.

4. Choose the "Memory" option.

5. Choose "Format" and then "Yes" to format the Lexar SDHC card.
