Retrieve Deleted Calls On Nextel Phones

Retrieve deleted calls from your Nextel phone.

Perhaps you dropped your phone and broke it, but you need to retrieve the numbers for a few phone calls that you recently made. Maybe you suspect that your spouse, or partner is cheating on you with someone else. Whatever the case, if you need to recover deleted calls on your Nextel phone you don't need to be a tech geek or spy master to do it anymore. It's actually quite simple and only takes a few minutes.

Instructions

1. Buy a forensic cell phone data tool. There are several available on the market today that you might consider. Some of these include the Sim Card Recovery tool, the Dekart SIM card manager and the Mobile Phone Data Recovery Kit. As of 2010, these devices cost between $69-$99.

2. Insert the CD-ROM that comes with the kit into the drive on your computer. It will ask if you wish to install the software and drivers. Click "Yes" and follow the instructions given by Windows to complete the installation. This software will allow your computer to read the data on the SIM card.

3. Turn the cell phone off and remove the SIM (subscriber identification module) card. This is the small white, rectangular chip located in back of your cell phone underneath the battery. This is where some of the phone's data is kept.

4. Insert the SIM card into the USB reader that comes with the kit and attach the USB reader to your computer.

5. Go to the "Start Menu" and the launch the software application.

6. Go to "File" and "Download Data." This will download all of the information from the SIM card to your computer. To retrieve the deleted calls, look to the left panel of the application and select "Last Dialed Calls." This will give you a list of the last 10 calls made on this phone. The deleted ones will be marked in red. To undelete them, right click on it and select "Undelete call."
