Convert A Wav File For The Rca Digital Voice Player

The RCA Digital Voice Player allows you to record audio files and play them back on your personal computer. By default, all audio is recorded and saved in VOC format. By converting the audio to WAV format, you can play your audio on other devices and share your audio with others. At the time of publication, RCA has five player models, including the VR5220, VR5230, VR5340, VR5320R and VR5330R. The method for converting the audio to WAV format is the same for all five models.

Instructions

1. Download and install the RCA Digital Voice Manager software onto your computer. The software is available for free via the RCA software downloads page at rcaaudiovideo.com/audio/voicerecorders/.

2. Connect one end of your digital voice player's USB cable to the USB port of your player. Connect the other end of the cable to your computer's USB port. Power on your digital voice player.

3. Open the Digital Voice Manager program on your computer. All of the voice recordings will appear in the bottom pane of the DVM window. The top pane contains files on your computer's hard drive.

4. Click the voice recording in the bottom pane that you want to convert to a WAV file. Click the "Conversion" icon -- waves located next to question mark icon -- that is located on the top DVM toolbar.

5. Select the folder location on your hard drive that you want to save the WAV file to. Click "Save" to save the converted file.

6. Wait a few seconds for the conversion process to finish. You can then access the WAV file from the folder specified during the conversion process.
