Copy A Slideshow File To A Flash Card Or Sd Card







A flash drive makes your slideshow portable.


The computer you create your slideshow on may not be the same computer that you use when giving your presentation. Copy your slidesa flash drive or SD card and take it with you to show on any computer. Copying a slidesa flash drive or SD card also creates a backup copy of your slideshow in case the original file somehow gets damaged.


Instructions


1. Insert your flash drive or SD card into your computer. The flash drive inserts to a USB port. The SD card inserts into the SD slot on your computer. Some computers do not have an SD slot.


2. Open Window's Explore. To do this, right-click on the start button and click "Explore." Within Explore, you can view all of your files and drives.


3. Locate your slide show file. Find it in the folder you saved it in, typically "Documents."








4. Create a copy of the slideshow. To do this, click on the file to highlight it and right-click, then select "Copy."


5. Save the copy to your flash drive or SD drive. To do this, find your drive in the list on the left-hand side of Explore. Click on the drive to highlight it, and then right click and select "Paste." Windows will write a copy of your slidesyour drive.


6. Verify the copy of the slideshow is on the drive and working properly. Double click on the drive and locate the file. Double click on the file, and it will open in the slideshow program you created it in.
