Create A Playlist On A Nokia N95

If you have a Nokia N95 cell phone, you can create a playlist for your music tracks on it. The easiest way to create a playlist on the Nokia N95 cell phone is using the Nokia Audio Manager, which is part of the free Nokia PC Suite software. If you have the Nokia Audio Manager program on your computer, you can quickly and easily create playlists on your Nokia N95. In fact, you can create multiple playlists at the same time.

Instructions

1. Go to the Nokia USA website (see link in Resources). Download and install the free Nokia PC Suite to your computer if you do not already have it installed. Nokia PC Suite contains the Nokia Audio Manager program. Connect your Nokia N95 to your computer using the mobile to PC USB cord that came with the phone. If you no longer have this cord, purchase one from a local cell phone accessory store.

2. Launch Nokia Audio Manager on your computer. Look in the "Phone" panel on the lower part of the screen to verify your phone is showing up there. If not, you have not connected it to your computer properly and should reconnect the phone to the computer.

3. Use your mouse to right click in the blank white area of the "Music Studio" panel. Select "Create New Playlist" from the pop-up menu. Name the playlist what you want, and press "Save." Select the new playlist by clicking it, then drag and drop it to the lower part of the screen where it reads "Track or Playlist Title." This moves the playlist to the phone. The playlist is empty at this point, so you still need to add the songs to it.

4. Right click the playlist title that you just dragged and dropped. Select "Add" from the pop-up menu. Select the tracks from your computer or an inserted CD that you want to add to the playlist and click "OK." When you do this, the music files that go with the playlist will be copied to your phone under the playlist title that you created.
