Sync Videos On An Ipod

With the new video versions of the iPod, you are able to view videos of several types on your iPod. If you wish to sync videos on an iPod from a computer, you will need to follow a few basic steps.

Instructions

1. Find video clips. You will need video clips to watch on your iPod. You can download these, create your own or even purchase videos to sync to your iPod using iTunes.

2. Prepare a video for viewing. To prepare a video for viewing on an iPod, it must first be in a file format that the iPod can use. To convert videos that are not in the MPEG-4 format, you may use iTunes' built-in software or use third party video conversion software.

3. Sync videos. Once you have videos to watch on your iPod, you are ready to sync them to the iPod using iTunes. This can be either by selecting videos individually or by syncing a video playlist.

4. Click on the "Movies" tab under the "Library" heading of the side menu bar. This will open your video library and allow you to select individual video files. Once a file is highlighted, drag it to the iPod icon under the "Devices" heading of the side menu.

5. Select a playlist. To select an entire video playlist, open your iPod library by clicking on the "iPod" symbol in the side menu. At the bottom of the iPod library window you will see an "Autofill from:' selection menu.

6. Choose the playlists or allow iTunes to choose a radom selection. Click the "Autofill" button and you will have synced that video playlist to your iPod.
