What Is The Equivalent To Photoimpression For Apple Computers

PhotoImpression is software for managing digital photography.

PhotoImpression is a digital photography management program created by ArcSoft. As of December 2010, PhotoImpression Gold 6.5, the latest version, does not feature support for the Apple OS X operating system.

Other ArcSoft Software

While the newest version of the software isn't available for Apple owners, ArcSoft's PhotoImpression 5 is compatible with OS 9 and OS X. Arcsoft PhotoStudio 6 is also compatible with OS X. While PhotoStudio 6 is mostly designed for editing photos, it includes management utilities, similar to PhotoImpressions.

Apple iPhoto

The iPhoto program is Apple's answer to photo management. Included in Apple's iLife software suite, the software is bundled with Mac computers. IPhoto has features such as facial recognition, tagging and geotagging and integration with Facebook and Flickr. Apple's iPhoto is the ideal software for novice photographers and those simply trying to keep their personal photos in order.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 6

Developed by Adobe, Photoshop Elements 6 provides Mac owners with photo editing and management tools with a clean, easy-to-understand interface. While strictly for Intel based Macs, Photoshop Elements 6 can integrate with iPhoto, allowing you to use both tools for your photo management and editing.

Apple Aperture

Apple's Aperture software has more features and depth than many other photo editing and management software, being designed for professional use. Aperture can integrate with multiple applications exclusive to Apple, including Final Cut, iWork and iLife.
