Easily transfer sound from one device to another using a laser pen that acts as a carrier for your favorite radio station.

Instructions

1. Set your transistor radio to a station you want to hear or any station that comes in clearly.

2. Remove the battery from the laser pointer pen, and attach a wire clip to the spring inside the laser pointer pen to hook it up to your external battery pack. Turn your laser pointer pen on. If it has a push-button to depress, apply tape or wiring around it to hold it down and keep it turned on.

3. Take your transformer and locate the side with three wires protruding from it. Avoid the center wire or inside wire. Use the other two wires to make a connection between the battery and the transformer.

4. Connect the earphone jack to the other side of the transformer.

5. Connect the solar cell to the microphone jack. Plug this into the phono input. Don’t worry about wiring chronology. Wire it however is convenient.

6. Ensure that your radio is off and your laser is on. Plug the earphone jack of the laser into the earphone socket of the radio.

7. Hook up your solar cell and stereo. Crank up the volume until you hear static, then reduce the volume until the hiss is inaudible or less noticeable. The volume should be on high.

8. Align the laser and solar cell so that the laser is focused on the solar cell.

9. Turn on the radio without moving the connections or bumping into your apparatus to avoid misaligning your arrangement.

10. Turn the volume up to hear the radio station broadcast.
