The S-50 is a receiver from Sirius Radio designed to go wherever you do.
The Sirius S50 receiver is a satellite radio designed to be listened to on the go. The receiver comes with a belt clip and a car kit so that you are able to listen to your songs anywhere. One of the best things about this receiver is the ability to save the songs or shows you listen to most so you never miss a moment. While this receiver has very few buttons and controls, it can be a bit confusing to operate because of how many functions it has. Luckily, once you understand the menus, operation of this device becomes second nature.
Instructions
1. Press the "Playlist" button, which is on the bottom of the player in the center, or power button on the remote control to turn the receiver on.
2. Press the "Mode" button (located on the bottom right-hand side of the receiver) until the receiver enters the "Channel" mode (designated by a "#" sign), the "Genre" mode (designated by a magnifying glass), or the "Preset" mode (designated by a star) to listen to a live broadcast by channel, genre, or through one of your presets. Turn the dial until you see your selection and press the "Select" button (located in the center of the dial) to select it.
3. Press the "Select" button to add the channel you are listening to your preset list. Press it a second time to add it to the next available preset. Turn the dial to choose a different preset and press the "Select" button to select it.
4. Press the "Play/Pause" button (located directly above the dial) to pause a live broadcast. Press it again to pick it up where you left off. Use the fast forward and rewind functions (located to left and right of the dial) to navigate through the broadcasts.
5. Press the "Love" button (a heart directly under the dial) to save a song which is currently playing on the radio. Press and hold the button if you would like to save a live show. Live shows can be up to two hours long.
6. Press the "Playlist" button to listen to the saved songs or shows. Scroll through the options to select either "My Songs" or "My Shows" and press "Select" to access the menu. Choose a song or show by using the dial and pressing the "Select" button. The song or show will start playing.
