Troubleshoot A Memorex Tv

Memorex has re-entered the television market by manufacturing LCD flat-screen televisions. Memorex flat-panel televisions, like any other television, can experience some common technical problems. However, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can take that may address some problems you are experiencing.

Instructions

1. Connect the video cables properly from your Memorex TV to your television receiver. The video cable is usually the yellow cable if you are using component cables. If the cables are properly secured, check to see if the cable is damaged. If it is, replace the cable.

2. Secure the audio cables properly from your Memorex TV to your audio receiver. The audio cable is usually the red and white cables if you are using component cables.

3. Perform a hard reset on the television if the screen displays "No Database." Users have reported that this is a common problem in Memorex televisions. To perform a hard reset, unplug the television, wait 1 minute and plug the TV back in.

4. Reset your cable or satellite receiver if you are not receiving a digital signal. Users have reported that analog signals will work, but the digital signal will not work. To reset your receiver, press the power button down for 3 to 5 seconds and wait for the receiver to restart.

5. Change video and audio settings if you are experiencing a problem with an image that is too dark or light. Use the controller to navigate to the video settings on your Memorex TV and adjust the contrast, brightness and sharpness.
