Manage Music With Zune Software

Microsoft has its own software for users to manager their music, pictures and podcasts on its Zune mp3 player. The software sorts, saves and creates lists of music you can sync to your Zune. The better you organize your files, the faster you can access them when looking for something specific on the go.

Instructions

1. Sign into the Zune marketplace and look for your Zune tag. In this section, there are menus you can customize to your personal settings and preferences and make changes to your music account.

2. Select the location where you want your new music to be loaded by searching in the "Collection" area of the Zune software. The same goes for pictures and videos. Simply select the default folders for each type of media.

3. Choose defaults of types of videos, music, and picture files you wish your Zune player to play automatically. Remember to play with these defaults until you find the files types you enjoy best.

4. Sync your Zune to your computer and choose what gets automatically synced every time you connect the music player. Other items can be transferred manually as needed if you opt not to sync automatically. If you have more than one Zune, you can select separate options for each.

5. Load your settings and preferences on up to three separate computers, each with different sync options.

6. Open your Zune playlists, videos and pictures on your TV by hooking the Zune up to your XBox 360. To do this, you must configure your Xbox 360 to your home network.
