Load Apps On The Iphone

Apple's iPhone has a variety of features, including touch-screen technology, a 5-megapixel camera, Internet capabilities, and a built-in iPod. The device also has numerous apps, which are miniature applications built specifically for mobile phones. These apps from from calendars and calculators to photo editing programs and games, both free and paid. Adding new apps to your iPhone is easy as long as you have an Internet connection.


Instructions


Directly on iPhone


1. Turn on your iPhone and make sure it is connected to the Internet, either via 4G network or wifi. You need to be online to access applications on the iTunes Store.


2. Click on the application icon for the iTunes App Store. The icon is blue with an "A." The iTunes App Store lets you buy mobile applications, as opposed to the iTunes Store application on your iPhone, which lets you buy music and videos.


3. Find the apps you are looking for, or browse for apps you like. Use the "Search" feature to find a specific app by clicking on the "Search" icon, which looks like a magnifying glass, on the lower right-hand corner of your screen and typing the name. The iTunes App Store will simultaneously suggest popular apps that match your search as you are typing.


4. Download your desired app by clicking on the small blue rectangle. It will display a price if the app is for sale and say "Free" if the app is free.


5. Enter your iTunes store password. The app will automatically download to your iPhone.

6. Turn on your computer and connect it to the Internet.


7. Open iTunes on your computer and click on "iTunes Store, " on the menu on the left. The iTunes Store might take a minute to load, depending on the speed of your Internet connection. If you already have the apps you want to load on your iPhone, you can skip the next two steps.


8. Find the apps you are looking for by clicking on "App Store," located on the right side of the top menu. A drop-down menu will appear, allowing you to select apps by categories such as business, education, games or productivity.


9. Download your desired apps. To buy an app in the iTunes store, click on the "Buy" button. Your apps will automatically download to your computer. You can access them in the "Apps" playlist in the column on the left.








10. Connect your iPhone to your computer using the provided USB cord. Let your iPhone synch before doing anything.


11. Click on your the name of your iPhone after it appears in the column on the left. A screen should appear in the main window of iTunes that lets you organize the files on your iPhone.


12. Click on "Apps." Check the apps you want to add to your iPhone.


13. Synchronize your iPhone.
