Use A Sony Dcr Trv330 To Transfer Videos To A Svideo On A Computer

The Sony DCR-TRV330 is a camcorder that can save video on tape or on a memory stick. If your videos are saved on a memory stick, you can transfer them to your computer using a memory stick reader. If your videos are saved on tape, you will need to use a video capture device to transfer the videos to your PC. Once you have installed the drivers and software and connected the camcorder, you can transfer the images and save them on your computer as S-video. S-video stands for Separated or Super Video, a widely used analog video format.

Instructions

1. Install the drivers and software that came with your USB capture device. The process varies depending on the manufacturer, so follow the instructions included with the device.

2. Plug the S-video cable into the S-video port on the camcorder. It is located on the left side of the device, near the front. It is covered by a rubber flap.

3. Plug the A/V cable supplied with the camcorder into the video out port. The port is located under the same cover, to the right of the S-video port.

4. Plug the other end of the S-video cable into the S-video input port on the USB capture device. Plug the red and white audio cables on the A/V cable into the matching ports on the capture device.

5. Plug the USB connector into an open USB port on your computer.

6. Open the video capture software on your computer, then press the "Play" button on the top of the camcorder.
