Set The Time On A Garmin C330

The Garmin C330 is a portable global positioning system (GPS) released in 2005. Designed for your car, the C330 features nearly 6 million points of interest, allowing a traveler to find what they're looking for when on the road. The C330 uses satellites to gather information on your location and provide pinpoint directions to your destination. The satellites also keep accurate information, such as the current time, in the system. By inputting your time zone using the touchscreen controls, the C330 will update the unit to the current time.

Instructions

1. Press the button with the wrench symbol near the bottom of the screen to open the "Settings" page.

2. Touch the "Time" option on the upper-right corner of the menu.

3. Tap the "Time Format" box to switch between 12, 24 or UTC time formats.

4. Touch "Time Zone." Choose your time zone from the list of United States time zones, or choose from a list of cities in other countries.

5. Tap the "Daylight Savings" box to switch between "On," "Off" and "Auto."

6. Press the "Back" button on the bottom of the screen twice to return to the main screen. The C330 will update the time automatically according to your settings.
