Delete Photos
From a Sony Cybershot Card
Sony, one of the largest electronics manufacturers in the world, also makes digital cameras. The Sony Cybershot is one in a line of many, varying from ultraslim point-and-shoot cameras to high-end digital SLRs. Any Sony Cybershot camera will have the ability to save your digital pictures on an internal memory card. You will be able to navigate the menu to perform functions ranging from scene mode changes to in-camera red-eye correction. If you don't like a particular picture, trash it and start over. Deleting photos from the Sony Cybershot card is simple.
Instructions
1. Verify your batteries are fresh and camera is ready to power on.
2. Turn power on with "on/off" button on top of camera.
3. Turn the camera to the back and press the "menu" button. In most models, it is located to the right of the LCD screen, oftentimes near the lower corner. Use the directional keys to locate any pictures stored on the memory card.
4. Select image(s) you desire to remove from camera.
5. Press the button next to the symbol that looks like a garbage can on the back of the camera. The screen will then display a message asking whether or not the picture(s) should be deleted.
6. Move the directional arrows to choose "delete" then press the garbage can button.
7. Delete all the photos on the Cybershot memory card simultaneously if you do not want to keep any of the stored photos.
8. Press the "playback" button in the middle of the panel to the right of the LCD screen. It looks like a right arrow tip with a rectangle surrounding it. This feature will allow you to review your photos already stored on the camera sequentially.
9. Zoom out using the W/T switch toward the top of the camera and it will display miniature reels, or thumbnails, on the LCD screen allowing you to view rows of all stored photos.
10. Press the button next to the garbage can symbol, use the directional button to navigate up and select "delete all."
11. Press the garbage can button and all images will be permanently erased.
