Attach A Slingbox Solo To A Tv

The Slingbox Solo allows you to watch streaming content from your cable, satellite or digital video recorder remotely on any computer with a high-speed Internet connection. The device also features output connections that allow you to view content from the Slingbox on a television. You can attach one television to the Slingbox Solo, and you have a choice of a standard RCA video connection, an S-Video connection or a high-definition component cable connection.

Instructions

1. Attach the RCA audio cables to the "Audio Out" connection points on the back of the Slingbox Solo. Connect the other end of the RCA audio cables to available audio input connections on your television. The RCA audio cables are color-coded, so match the cables with the colored connection points on the television and on the back of the Slingbox device.

2. Connect an RCA video cable, S-Video cable or high-definition component cables to the "Video Out" connection point(s) on the back of the Slingbox Solo. Connect the other end of the cable(s) to an available video input connection on your television. The RCA video cable and S-Video cable have a single connection point on both devices, and the high-definition component cables have three color-coded connection points on both devices.

3. Select the input on your television that corresponds to the video input you used as a connection point. You can generally change the input on your television by pressing the "Input" button on the remote control, or by pressing the "Input" button on the front of the television's control panel.
