Convert YouTube videos to an iPod or MP4 format.
While video converter programs may offer a free trial that allows you to convert YouTube videos to your iPod, they often place restrictions on the conversion process by limiting the length of video that can be converted, reduce the quality of the converted video, or place the product's watermark in the video. There are, however, online YouTube converter websites that allow you to enter the video's URL into the site, and converts the video into an MPEG-4 or iPod video format free. Once converted, the file is available for download.
Instructions
1. Open your Internet browser, and go to the Youtube converter site, a link is provided in Resources.
2. Open a separate browser window, and go to the official YouTube site. Select the video you want to convert, and copy the video's URL.
3. Paste the URL in the YouTube converter site's URL field.
4. Select "MP4" or "iPod" in the "Convert To" section, and click the "Start" or "Convert" button.
5. Click the "Get" or "Download" button once the YouTube video conversion is finished, and save the video file to your desktop.
