The iPhone is a quad-band Global Systems for Mobile Communication (GSM) cellular telephone that you can also use to stream television via the SlingPlayer Mobile application. The application is a paid download available from Apple's App Store. The application, when used with your existing Slingbox, allows you to fully control your home television including your DVR and watch live streaming television over a high speed cellular data network or any available Wi-Fi network.
Instructions
1. Press the round button at the bottom of your iPhone and slide your finger across the screen as instructed to unlock your iPhone.
2. Tap the "App Store" icon and then press the "Search" button.
3. Type "Slingbox" in the App Store's search bar and then press the blue "Find" button.
4. Press the blue "$29.99" button and then tap the green "Install" button.
5. Wait while your iPhone downloads and installs on your iPhone. When the process is complete you will find a new SlingPlayer Mobile icon on your iPhone's screen.
6. Enter your Slingbox username and password and press the "Log In" button. Select the channel you would like to watch. The live stream on your iPhone will begin automatically.
