Yaesu Mh48 Microphone Wiring

The Yaesu Mh-48 microphone is designed for the professional driver who requires a hand-held communication device. The Mh-48 is designed to work in conjunction with the FTM-350R receiver unit and can be wired directly into this device.

Installation

The Mh-48 connects to the 350R receiver using a six conductor modular plug-in. The 350R has a clearly marked six-pin microphone jack that the Mh-48 should connect to. The 350R receiver can be mounted on the dashboard or installed into the console of the vehicle.

Function

The Mh-48 is suited for a wide variety of communication and playback functions. The handheld unit has several buttons on its main interface that are programmed to scan for available radio frequencies and broadcast. In addition, four buttons are available for user-created programming. The large button on the side of the unit controls broadcasting functions: while holding down the button, users can transmit to any other units on the same frequency.

Considerations

The 350 R receiver is also programmed for a wide variety of functions. Users can access any available AM and FM radio stations as well as connect their Bluetooth device for hands-free communication.
