Turn Off The Flash On A Camera Canon Powershot A470

The Canon PowerShot A470 digital camera has many features to help take photos in different lighting, including setting the camera flash to go off automatically or setting the flash to turn off entirely. Turning off the flash doesn't require scrolling through multiple menus or any special command sequence. Instead, Canon has designed the PowerShot A470 with a simple, fast push-button solution to switch between the flash options. All that you need to do is access the flash option screen and select the "Off" setting.

Instructions

1. Turn on your Canon PowerShot A470 digital camera.

2. Press the "Flash/Right Arrow" button on the four-way control on the back of your camera to display flash options on the camera's LCD screen.

3. Push the "Left Arrow" or "Right Arrow" buttons to select the flash "Off" icon. It's the third icon that shows the flash symbol crossed out by a backslash mark inside a circle. Begin shooting new pictures.
