Use The Source Pane In Itunes

The source pane contains the variety of options available in iTunes. If you select an item within the source pane, you will see a display in the right pane that contains content and controls.

Instructions

1. If you are looking for movies, videos, audiobooks, podcasts and games that you have added to iTunes, use the Library feature. If you would like to play a selection from your Library, choose it and then either double click on it or click the Play/Pause button.

2. The Store section contains: the iTunes store (where you will purchase music, videos, audiobooks, podcasts and games), the Shopping Cart (where items you have chosen from the Store are held until you check out) and Purchased (where you can see your recent purchases).

3. The Devices section will show an iPod that is connected to your computer. In addition, a CD or audio in your computer will be displayed in the source pane when your iPod is connected to your computer.

4. In the Shared section, you can find a list of everyone who is sharing items from their iPod. You must have your computer connected to a network in order to use this feature.
