Transfer Pictures on a BlackBerry Media Card to a Computer

The BlackBerry is a popular and versatile handheld mobile device with multimedia capabilities. BlackBerries are equipped with digital cameras and most include support for micro SD media cards. Once pictures and videos are captured with the device, the media is stored on the micro SD media card. The media may be easily transferred from the micro SD card to a computer for storing, editing and sharing by connecting the device to the computer and enabling Mass Storage mode on the BlackBerry.

Instructions

1. Connect the BlackBerry device to the computer with the USB connector cable.

2. Click the "Yes" button on the BlackBerry when prompted to turn on "Mass Storage" mode.

3. Allow the computer to find the device and list the BlackBerry as a Removable Disk.

4. Right-click the Windows "Start" button on the computer and select "Explore" to open Windows Explorer.

5. Navigate to the BlackBerry, listed with a new drive letter as a Removable Disk and click the folder labeled "BlackBerry."

6. Click the folder labeled "Pictures."

7. Drag and drop the pictures to be transferred from the Pictures folder on the BlackBerry to the desired location on the computer.
