Delete Unwanted Scenes From My Sony Hybrid Handycam

Sony's Handycam models DCR-DVD610/DVD710/DVD810 are part of its hybrid camera line. Hybrid cameras record high quality videos and capture high resolution still images. The user can perform basic editing functions while the media is still on the camera, including deleting parts of recorded movies. Since the camera records media to a DVD, internal flash drive or a removable memory stick, you must first choose the storage location that contains the media you want to erase. The deletion steps are the same for each location.

Instructions

1. Touch the "Home" button, the "Others" button, and then "Delete."

2. Touch "Delete" on the menu that appears, and again on the next menu.

3. Touch the scene you want to delete from the list displayed. The camera will mark it with a check mark.

4. Press and hold down the scene again to confirm.

5. Touch the "OK" button then touch "Yes."

6. Touch "OK" again when "Completed" appears to finish the process.
