Maganvox portable DVD players can be recharged with a DC power cord or car adapter cable.
Magnavox portable DVD players are equipped with a rechargeable battery that can be powered either with a DC adapter and a standard electrical outlet or with the included car adapter for plugging into a 12-volt electrical socket in the dashboard. The connections take less than a minute. Magnavox portable DVD players must be turned off during the recharge process. A fully-charged player should provide about four hours of viewing time.
Instructions
1. Turn off the Magnavox portable DVD player. It will not recharge while switched on.
2. Insert the DC power plug or the plug on the car adapter into the power socket on the back edge of the Magnavox portable DVD player.
3. Insert the electrical plug on the other end of the DC power cable into a wall outlet to recharge the battery, or insert the plug on the other end of the car adapter cable into a 12-volt socket on a car, truck or boat dashboard.
4. Verify the red LED recharge light is illuminated on the Magnavox portable DVD player.
