The Cobra 29 LX LE radio can tune 10 different weather channels. However, you may want to remove some of these channels if they provide forecasts or alerts irrelevant to your area. The easiest way to accomplish this is to deactivate the automated station scans.
Auto Scan
According to the Cobra 29 LX LE's manual, you can use the "Menu/Enter" knob to access the menu, then turn it to the right until "WX Auto Scan" appears. Push "Menu/Enter" until "Off" is selected. Use "Menu/Enter" once more to complete the process.
Alert Scan
The manual also indicates that you can do the same under "Weather Alert Scan" (use the menu to locate this setting) to prevent alerts from undesired channels. This way, the radio will only sound weather alerts broadcast by the channel you set it to.
Channel
Finally, set the Cobra 29 to the desired local weather channel. With the automatic scans deactivated, it only receives forecasts and alerts from this channel. This will effectively remove the other weather channels.
