Instructions for the Sharp Remote Control Watch
Manufactured by Sharp Electronics, the remote control watch is a sports-style wrist watch that offers both timekeeping and universal remote control options. The Sharp remote control watch can be programmed to operate your TV, satellite, DVD, VCR or VCD players. Though the operating procedures for your remote control watch may seem extensive, once the programming is out of the way, operating the remote control functions of your watch is actually quite simple.

Timekeeping
1. Press and hold the watch's top-left button until the seconds place digits begin to flash, indicating that you have entered the setting mode.
2. Press the top-right button to set the seconds place digits to "00".
3. Push the bottom-right button to advance the flashing to the hours place digits.
4. Use the top- and middle-right buttons to adjust the hours place digits to the correct time. Press the top-right button to increase the number and the middle-right button to decrease the number.
5. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 to set the minutes, year, month and date on your Sharp remote control watch. Press the top-left button to exit the time-setting mode.
Programming Remote Control Features
6. Press the bottom-right button on your Sharp remote control watch repeatedly until you have accessed the set IR remote control mode.
7. Press the bottom-left button repeatedly to choose the device that you want to program your watch to operate. Note that the watch will prompt you to program your remote control watch in this sequence: TV, VCD, VCR, DVD and satellite.
8. Refer to the list of codes included in the Resources section of this article to find the correct programming codes for your devices.
9. Use the top and middle right buttons to scroll through the various codes on the remote control watch. Press the middle-left button to make your selection.
10. Press the bottom-right button to exit the set IR mode.
Using Remote Control Features
11. Use the bottom-left button to choose which device you want to operate. Note that the devices will be presented in this sequence: TV, VCD, VCR, DVD and satellite.
12. Press the bottom-right button to turn the TV on or off.
13. Press the top-left button on the Sharp remote control watch to turn the TV volume up. Use the middle-left button to turn the TV volume down.
14. Use the top- and middle-right buttons to scroll through the channels on your TV or satellite.
15. Press the top-left button to fast-forward your DVD or VHS tape and the middle-left button to rewind them.
Push the middle-right button to play or pause DVDs or VHS tapes.
Stop the playback of DVDs or VHS tapes by pressing the top-right button.
