Find Rfid

This small RFID chip could allow you to find lost items.

Radio-frequency identification is a technology that communicates via electromagnetic waves to send data between a terminal -- the RFID chip reader -- and an electronic tag attached to an object. The technology is particularly useful for tracking and finding lost items. You can read some tags from several yards away. If you purchase a RFID chip reader, you can find any object that has the attached chip.

Instructions

1. Switch on the RFID chip reader and move to the general area you believe the item you are searching for to be in. Typically the RFID tag on the lost object will respond with a beeping noise or indicator on your device.

2. Follow the signal indicated by your RFID chip reader. Depending on the model you have purchased, the reader will indicate the direction of the lost item with a series of quickening beeps or an actual visual direction.

3. Manually search for the item when the RFID chip reader indicates that you are in the immediate vicinity of it.
